What you may do with the work shown here, and what this site does and does not promise Last updated 8 September 2026

The short version

Read anything here, link to it, quote a bit of it with credit, and take the code as a reference — it is written to be read. What you may not do is pass the work off as your own, republish the case studies wholesale, or treat anything on this site as a professional engagement or a promise of one.

By using this site you accept the terms below. They are the terms of reading a portfolio, not a contract for work; paid work is governed by a separate written agreement and never by this page.

What this site is

A personal portfolio, operated by Marshall Ezra Kevinnettou (“Maezkev”), an individual based in Indonesia. It exists to show design work and to be found by people who might want some done. It is informational: there is nothing to buy, no account to hold, and no service delivered through it.

It is not operated by, endorsed by, or published on behalf of any employer or client, including every company named in the case studies. Views and judgements expressed in the write-ups are mine alone.

Who owns what

Three different kinds of ownership sit on these pages, and it is worth separating them rather than claiming the lot:

Mine

The site itself — its design, layout, hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the case-study text, and the Maezkev mark. Copyright is retained; no licence is granted by publishing it, beyond the permitted uses in the next section.

My clients’ and employers’

The products themselves. Intellectual property in work done for BNI, Ukirama, Griya Hipnoterapi Malang and every other client or employer belongs to those parties under the terms it was done. The case studies document my contribution to that work; they do not transfer any right in the products, and nothing shown gives you a licence to use any of it.

Everyone else’s

Third-party names, logos and trademarks — BNIDirect, Logitech, Figma and the rest. Each belongs to its owner and appears here nominatively: to identify the actual product a piece of work was for, which is the only way to describe the work honestly. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by any of them is claimed or implied. The Logitech Arx Control study is explicitly a self-directed, unsolicited redesign with no involvement from Logitech.

Icons and the typeface are third-party assets used under their own licences, listed individually in Credits & Attribution. Those licences travel with the assets: if you reuse an icon from this site, the obligation is to its author, not to me.

What you may and may not do

Freely allowed, no permission needed: reading, printing or saving pages for your own use; linking to any page; quoting a short passage with credit and a link; sharing a case study with a colleague; viewing the source, and learning from how something here is built. The pages ship unminified and framework-free on purpose — a readable source is the point, and reading it is not a breach of anything.

Not allowed:

Search engine crawling and indexing are welcome and explicitly invited in /robots.txt; so is assistant and answer-engine access, guided by /llms.txt. Those invitations cover crawling for search and answers, and do not extend to the bulk extraction above.

Anything outside the permitted list needs written permission, which is usually given if you ask. Ask on LinkedIn.

Case studies, confidentiality and figures

Work done under employment or an NDA is shown only to the extent it may be. Some screens are redesigned, redrawn or genericised for that reason, internal detail is omitted, and no confidential material, unreleased roadmap or customer data appears on this site. Where a study covers internship or employed work, it is labelled as such.

Metrics quoted — Lighthouse scores, traffic figures, timelines, team sizes — are as measured or recorded at the time and are reported honestly, but they are point-in-time observations of a particular project rather than a benchmark, a guarantee, or a prediction of what similar work would achieve elsewhere. Process descriptions are summaries: real projects were messier than a write-up.

Contact does not create an engagement

The site publishes no contact form and no email address; the route is LinkedIn. Messages there are welcome, and a message is a conversation and nothing more — it creates no contract, no designer–client relationship, no obligation to take a project, and no duty of confidentiality on my side.

So do not send confidential or sensitive material in a first message. Anything you send before a written agreement is in place should be treated as non-confidential, and I cannot accept responsibility for unsolicited material, ideas or briefs. Paid work begins with a separate written agreement setting out scope, fees, deliverables, confidentiality and IP; where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement governs.

Accuracy, availability and warranties

The site is provided “as is”. Reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate and working, but no warranty of any kind is given — express or implied — as to accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Content ages. Case studies describe products that have since changed or been retired, the résumé PDF is accurate as of its own date rather than today’s, and nothing here is professional advice — design, technical, legal or otherwise — on which you should rely for a decision of your own without taking your own.

This is a personal site on shared hosting, so it may be unavailable for maintenance, or change or disappear without notice. No uptime is promised, and pages may be added, edited or removed at any time.

Links and embedded content

Links out to LinkedIn, client sites, licence pages and documentation, and the Figma prototypes embedded in three case studies, all point at services I do not control. They are offered as a convenience and as evidence. Their content, availability and terms are their operators’ responsibility, a link is not an endorsement, and following one puts you under their terms and privacy policy. An embedded prototype in particular may be changed or withdrawn on Figma’s side or my own.

What each third-party service collects when you load or follow it is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss of profit, data or goodwill — arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it, including any loss caused by the site being unavailable or by a third-party service embedded in or linked from it.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded — including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If any provision on this page is found unenforceable, the rest stands.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and the courts of Indonesia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised at any time, and the revision takes effect when it is published here. The date in the header above is the only notice given, so it is worth a glance if you are relying on something specific; continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.

Questions about any of this, or a permission request, go through LinkedIn. See also Privacy Policy and Credits & Attribution.
